The talented Malcolm Pisani was born on the 30th july 1989. Altough Maltese, he also has Italian backgrounds in his family.

The performing career for Malcolm Pisani started when he was very young. What enticed him was the satisfaction, where he felt and good feedback he received from the performances he gave during his participation in the school Christmas concerts. His grandmother, Iris, gave him encouragement when she noticed that he loved singing and he was doing well in such local concerts. This led him to attend guitar lessons, and and start voice lessons under the guidance of Helen Micallef.

After performing in local concerts, malcolm is now an established well known singer which is now currently perfoming also for some major shows and concerts.

At the beginning of his career Malcolm participated in a lot of festivals. The audiences used to enjoy hearing his voice and the thriving results gave him further boost to continue what he had started. Initially he didn’t know which type of genre suited him best, so he decided to go through a phase of experimentation, where he joined and sang which various groups and bands.

The year 2005 brought more success for Malcolm. On the 3rd December he performed his first live concert at Baystreet and this turned to be a spectacular event as many people attended.
Two weeks after this event, Malcolm competed in the first edition of “Opportunity 2 Challenge” where he interpreted his original song ‘I WANNA CU’, lyrics by Rita Pace and music by Elton Zarb.
Due to the audience’s good response to this song he decided to launch it in 2006 as his first original song. This song was sent to a radio station in Cyprus and in about four months it was classified in the 20th position from about 80 songs.

In 2006 a great opportunity was offered to Malcolm to be one of the guests in the official show of Miss World Bikini International 2006 at Villa Bellini, Catania. This show had an audience of around 8,000 people and it was transmitted by two television stations, Antenna Sicilia and Rai. This event was one of the biggest challenges for Malcolm because of the fact that the present soundman played a different songs for Malcolm than the original he had to sing. Luckily and thanks to his gifted talent Malcolm managed to interpret this song in such a talented way that after the show the crowed bombarded Malcolm with compliments.

On 11th April 2007 Malcolm decided to launch an event at Eyecon Paceville with his first official single “BURNIN” where more than 300 people attended and the majority of the media people where present for this big event. “BURNIN” was played on the majority of all the local radios and clubs and on foreign charts like “My.SoundClick” in which the song placed 12th from more than 1000 songs.
By this even Malcolm manage to be on the Magazine “Antenna”, “The Malta Independent”, “Nazzjon”, “Mument”, “Orizzont”, and “Times of Malta. Besides this he was also invited on various TV programs and shows where he was asked to perform his single. Apart from all this Malcolm also managed to gain his own TV Program on UTV.

After the incredible success from his single “BURNIN” Malcolm felt like this single needed something more, so together with his team he decided to create a video in order to give a fresh motion for his song. When the video was completed his team decided to promote this video on TV by streaming it on every local stations several times a week and also launched an event at Baystreet Complex. This video was also submitted for the Ogae Video Contest 2007 Top 6 where this video placed 5th

On 19th May 2007 Malcolm was given the honor to open the Malta Fashion Awards 2007 live on TVM which his single “BURNIN” and was also invited for the Mr. Elegant & Miss Beauty Malta 2007 at “Castello Zammitello” on the 7th September 2007.

Mean while his continues success throughout 2007 Malcolm tried a different experiment where he was invited as a vocalist to single a new single called “PROMISE”. This single was composed by Edward Ferry & Jean Paul Debono where both Edward and Jean form part of the band as a Guitarist and Drummer. This mixture of rock alternative turned itself from an experiment to one good piece of Song in our local charts and very requested by Malcolm’s Fans.

The latest mile stone for Malcolm was his new single “PRESS PLAY”. This single was launched on the 23rd of May 2008 at Tattingers with an audience of more than 350 people from guests, media, fans and local VIPs. This event hosted 8 other different shows such as make up show, hair show, fire show, dance show and other local singers. “PRESS PLAY” launch was definitely a success judging from the amount of response, local media reports and the amount of invitation this young talented singer received to participate on various shows and local TV stations.
